You know as you take your seat in the Slingshot this is no ordinary ride. Your mind is racing, your heart is beating like a drum and your throat is dry… 3…. 2…. 1…. twaannngg!
The Slingshot holds two people at a time with a video camera attached to the front of the capsule to capture the rider’s expressions as they are ejected up into the air.
Velocity is 180 kilometres per hour.
Altitude is 90 metres plus.
Acceleration 6 G's.
Must be over 125 centimetres tall.
