Stand Up Surfing

Stand Up Surfing offers stand-up paddling sessions for newcomers to the sport or for groups who enjoy exercising together to increase general fitness and strength. Stand Up Paddling is one the world’s fastest-growing water sports and strengthens core muscle groups, improves balance and fitness and is a whole heap of fun! It is a family-owned and operated business with three generations of beach boys involved. Craig Fisher, the principal, started surfing at an early age as his family were involved in Surf Life Saving. His father was one of the original surfers on the Perth coast in the late 1940s. His father-in-law was one of the first people in South Africa to make stand-up paddle craft back in the 1950s and is still instructing in his 80s. All of the family are now involved in the sport and their customers experience not only a stand-up paddling experience, but a living history of a stand-up paddle passionate family involved in something they are completely immersed in.
