Wunambal Gaambera people are the Traditional Owners of Ngauwudu (Mitchell Plateau) and along with the local Uunguu Rangers, they manage the Munurru (King Edward River) Campground and surrounding country. Embrace the unique opportunity to meet a Wunambal Gaambera Traditional Owner and take a guided tour of the rock art sites close by. Visitors will learn about Wanjina-Gwion rock art, cultural stories, bush tucker and how life is for this remote community of Aboriginal people. Tours can be booked at the Munurru Campground Ranger Base.
