Description

For an enchanting wander, head to the Windmill Walk along the banks of the Castlereagh River. The walk will take you between the Gilgandra CBD and the Coo-ee Heritage and Information Centre. The two kilometre (one-way) walk showcases lots of native fauna and flora as well as a number of windmills that once operated within Gilgandra. These windmills are decorated with artworks by our local disability services and bring colour to the walk. There is also picnic facilities and the entire walk is pet friendly.
