New Norfolk Swimming Pool

The New Norfolk swimming pool is ideally located adjacent to the Derwent River with the open space and ambience of the Esplanade parkland. A shared walking and cycling track lead to the award-winning Tynwald Park via the wetland and clifftop walk. At a length of 50 metres, this six-lane pool can be used for various styles of training, or simply to cool off in the warmer months. The pool offers many facilities including a guaranteed water temperature of at least 26 degrees celsius. Other facilities for visitors to enjoy include an outdoor seating and grassed area, lap lanes, sunshade over the wading/toddlers pool, modern starting blocks and time clock, pool toys, toilets, change rooms with hot showers, locker hire, kiosk, free gas BBQ and picnic area and plenty of off-street parking. Alternatively, there are electric BBQ areas located nearby on The New Norfolk Esplanade.
