Bay West Driving Trail - Route 11

The Bay West Driving Trail takes in many of Werribee and Surround’s most-loved attractions, while dishing up some amazing food and wine experiences to enjoy along the way. Route Update 2025 Access to K Road Cliffs lookout and car park is currently closed for major upgrades until early 2025. As construction progresses, there may be partial road closures from time to time on a small section of K Road (just past Werribee Park Golf Course to the K Road Cliffs car park). Access to local attractions is unaffected. Please drive safely and follow the signage and directions from traffic controllers. Werribee Park Precinct Bookend your road trip with a visit to Werribee Park Mansion, Victoria Sate Rose Garden, Werribee Open Range Zoo and Shadowfax Winery. Market Gardens The Werribee South market gardens are thriving in rich, red soil. This is the heart of the Melbourne food bowl. Point Cook RAAF Museum Marvel at the huge collection of jets, helicopters, propeller planes and interactive displays at this free museum, open on Thursdays and Sundays (bookings required). Campbell’s Cove Admire the colourful and quirky, heritage-listed boatsheds that have brightened the foreshore since the 1920s. Point Cook Coastal Park The park is a haven for birdwatchers, nature lovers and families. Point Cooke Marine Sanctuary Teeming with opportunities to explore above and below the water. As Victoria’s largest marine park, this is a hot spot for snorkelers and divers . Wyndham Harbour Stroll along the waterfront and enjoy a game of mini golf or long lunch at Wyndham Harbour, with views across to the city and Port Phillip Bay. Werribee South Foreshore Relax on the beach and take advantage of the playgrounds at JD Bellin Reserve and Price Reserve, or head out on the water at this popular spot for fishing and boating.
