Description

Drink in the atmosphere with a visit to the Tamburlaine Organic Wines Cellar Door in the historic village of Millthorpe. Sample the exclusive range of organic wines and accompaniments in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere in the heart of the Orange Wine Region. The Tamburlaine Millthorpe Cellar Door is housed in the historic General Store in Pym Street and serves up genuine country hospitality with a generous side of ambience. Established in the Hunter Valley in 1966, the winery was purchased by a small group of friends and relatives led by current Managing Director and Chief Winemaker, Mark Davidson, in 1985. Tamburlaine has emerged as one of Australia’s largest producers of organic wines with the majority of vineyards and production located in the Orange/Central Ranges region of NSW. They continue to lead the way with their Contemporary Organics ethos - successfully crafting award-winning organic, vegan-friendly, low-sulphur and no added sulphur wines. The Tamburlaine commitment to long-term sustainability means they work to leave the vineyards in the best condition possible for generations to come with the conscious production of exceptional wines.
