Riverton to Rhynie Short Walk

Follow the Riverton to Rhynie Short Walk along the old Spalding railway line and section of the Rattler Trail through beautiful open countryside. Take in the bright yellow canola fields from August to early October which offer spectacular photography opportunities. In Rhynie, stop off in the lovely park which features a playground and also public toilets. In Riverton wander through the beautiful town’s historical sites such as Scholz Park Museum, local pubs, cafes and grab any supplies from the supermarket. In Riverton you start the walk at Scholz Park and in Rhynie you start the walk at the Rhynie Parking Bay. The trail is 8.2km one way and is a relatively easy walk despite the distance.
