Fruit Bat Falls
Located off the Telegraph Track in the Apudthama National Park (Jardine River National Park), Fruit Bat Falls is a fantastic place to refresh and wash off the dust during your trip to The Tip.
This broad, natural weir is croc-free and is a few kilometres from the junction of the Southern Bypass Rd and Old Telegraph Track. It has plenty of shady picnic tables, making it the ideal place for a pit stop.
With its diverse wilderness and abundant national parks, Tropical North Queensland is home to many beautiful waterfalls and swimming holes. It’s important to always follow the advice from Queensland Parks and never venture into out of bounds areas, flooded waters or dangerous areas to prevent serious injury or death.
