Ski Beach picnic area

Ski Beach picnic area is a great place for a day out beside the mighty Murray River in Murray Valley Regional Park, adjacent to Murray Valley National Park. The picnic area is a short walk from either Cobram or Barooga, and is well-equipped with barbecues and picnic tables. After a tasty barbecue lunch, you could take a peaceful walk along the river or enjoy a cooling dip. If you've brought your fishing rod along, you can try your luck at a spot of fishing. For those interested in local history, it's also the site of the river punt, constructed in 1889 to carry people and animals across the river.
