Penrith Heritage Walk

Step into Penrith’s rich past. Discover more about the city’s history through this fascinating 11 kilometre walk which takes you from Penrith to Emu Plains. Go at your own pace, complete the walk in one day, or break it into sections – it’s up to you! Starting from the historic Penrith Train Station, you’ll learn about some of the most treasured sites in the city. The walk will take you through Penrith, along the beautiful Nepean River and across to Emu Plains. Take your time, enjoy the views, stop in at cafés, parks and attractions along the way, and enjoy each step as you become acquainted with the places, spaces and people that have helped shape the Penrith of today. This project received grant funding from the Australian Government.
