The Bay Sailing Centre is located on the beautiful sandy shores of Salamander Bay at Soldiers Point in Port Stephens, NSW. The Sailing Centre also offers a casual café with a stunning view and some of the best coffee in the area, just a stroll down the hill from Bannisters Port Stephens! The Sailing Academy offers seasonal learn-to-sail activities and fun sailing experiences for children from 6 years to 12 years during school holidays. As an "Australian Sailing" accredited centre, you can be assured of skilled instructors and a high standard of delivery. Aboard their fleet of six Tackers dinghies, they aim to offer kids an experience like no other. Catering for complete beginners, children can give sailing a try for the very first time. If they love it, they then have an opportunity to register for a learn-to-sail course. The Courses and Experiences include: "Tackers” Intro sessions "Tackers" kids learn to sail courses. Given the wonderful location and vista of Port Stephens, the Academy instructors aim to give every participant an experience they will thoroughly enjoy and long remember.
