Kingscote Silo Art

Standing at 25 metres tall and overlooking the township of Kingscote is the mural captivating visitors with the beautiful portrayal celebrating Kangaroo Island wildlife. Artist Cam Scale has created the Kangaroo Island Kangaroo and the endangered Glossy Black Cockatoo. The first side, a mother Kangaroo, and her joey while two of the Island’s endangered glossy black cockatoos – one perched on a tree branch and the other mid-flight – occupies the other. The silos are spectacular at night, so make sure you leave some time to admire it with the stars on.
