Yass Town Trail Walk

The Yass River is home to many species of native flora and fauna. The River and surrounding environments support many fish, birds, marsupials, reptiles, amphibians, insects and plants. On the Yass Town Trail Walk, take the time to read the interpretive signs along the trails, and find out more about the natural, cultural and historic heritage of the Yass River. The best time of day to enjoy the wildlife is early in the morning or late in the afternoon so why not take the walk, rest and take in the sounds of nature? Please do not disturb the plants and animals and be sure to place rubbish in bins, or take it home with you. Drop into the Yass Valley Visitor Information Centre and collect a map and a guide for the Yass Town Trail Walk.
