Bamboo Buddha

A tranquil hideaway in a quiet part of the Central Coast, Bamboo Buddha is a vegetarian and vegan cafe set in lush gardens. Serving breakfast, brunch and lunch, the menu uses local and organic produce where possible. The food here should both nourish and nurture, with dishes like fluffy pancakes with fresh fruit, twice-cooked vegetable risotto, and a Bamboo Buddha burger made with sunflower seed ‘mince’. There are regular specials, such as warming curries and soups in winter, and a selection of sweet treats or fresh baked scones, plus organic coffee, cold-pressed juices and tasty smoothies. Kids are catered for with their own organic vegetarian menu and dogs are welcome throughout the cafe. Also onsite you’ll find a nursery selling bamboo, cactus and rare succulents; a yoga school offering hatha, vinyasa and yin classes; and a regular calendar of events including drumming workshops, art exhibitions, sound healing and more.
