It includes the dry garden, prairie garden, birch grove, maples, rare conifers, a rock garden/water Garden, The long border, also known as the Barry Manilow border, and beautiful coloured flower borders, Statues and stunning autumn colours. The gardens have attracted many birds and wildlife. A must-see garden that is more than just a garden with the view looking back to the Blue Mountains as a special treat. Sit with a cup of coffee or tea and take in the views. They also have plants for sale that are grown from the gardens so you can take home a piece of Highfield's. Picnics welcome. The gardens are suitable for all ages. Small children must be monitored at all times due to water features, but are most welcome. There is a treasure hunt for kids which is very popular! The gardens have also been featured in many other publications and on Better Homes and Gardens with Graham Ross.
