South Bank Parklands Guided Tours

Discover the sights and stories of South Bank Parklands on a free 90-minute guided tour. Experience the rich history and culture of South Bank, and discover how the former industrial site became the iconic green space it is today. You will hear fascinating behind-the-scenes stories about the parkland's design and evolution from your guide as you wander through picturesque pathways. Discover how the parkland was transformed and reminisce about World Expo 88' and the 2011 floods, as well as visiting iconic landmarks of South Bank Parklands. The South Bank Guided Tours will be conducted by friendly, knowledgeable volunteers daily at 10 am from the Visitor Information Centre located in Stanley Street Plaza (next to Max Brenner). Tours are free however, pre-registration is required to attend.
