The Folly Truffles

The Folly is Queensland's first commercial truffle farm, situated in Ballandean, Queensland, at the heart of Granite Belt Wine Country. The Folly Truffles welcome visitors to their truffiere with tours available all year round, and truffle hunts during harvest season (June to August). As it is a working farm, bookings are essential to avoid disappointment. Tours (and seasonal hunts) commence with a walk and talk through the truffiere where guide Maple will explain the whole process of truffle farming, from planting, to paddock to plate. Upon conclusion of the tour, a tasting of local produce is involved at the truffle cottage, in an informal and intimate atmosphere.
