Description

Ardi’ol is a hundred per cent owned, managed and operated by the Bardi people and offers cultural experiences sharing traditional stories, songs, dance, authentic art and more. Visitors will delve into mangroves, exposed reef systems and ancient fishing traps, or have a more relaxed trip and take in the stunning island views and traditional art within a baali (beach shelter). This is all while you will experience traditional stories, songs and knowledge passed down through seven generations. Ardi'ol also has an art gallery that offers authentic local art as a small takeaway to remember your Ardi’ol experience. Cultural artefacts, fishing shirts, canvas prints, carved shells and Boab nuts, plus local bush medicines for sale.
