Stringybark Reserve is located in the rapidly growing township of Baranduda. Red Stringybark is what gave the reserve its name has been used by the Indigenous of Australia for its fibre. Stringy bark is fibrous and useful for making ropes, bindings and fishnets. Stringybark Reserve is home to a community Red Stringybark. The reserve is also home to over 45 species of native flora and over 60 observed species of native birds. This small reserve offers locals and visitors the chance to immerse themselves in a piece of local Australian nature. Pedestrian gates off Baranduda Recreation Reserve, near Baranduda Community Centre and off John Schubert Drive. Another gate near Burdock Drive.
