Join Now Nungarra Cemetery
The original townsite for the area was Nungarra but now all that remains is the cemetery.
The cemetery holds the remaining old graves and the new plaques laid by the Outback Grave Markers. Further along the track, you will also pass by the lone grave of A.W. Irvine.
Nungarra Cemetery is 12 kilometres from Sandstone, along the Paynes Find-Sandstone road. Visit the Sandstone Heritage Museum and Visitor Centre for information.
