Eldorado - Wangaratta Loop

Test yourself on this long gravel ride loop past historic gold rush landmarks and through the Mt Barambogie State Forest and Chiltern-Mt Pilot National Park. Starting in Eldorado or Wangaratta, pedal smooth gravel roads through native bushland and historic sites. This intermediate route offers a sense of tranquility while remaining close to civilization. The terrain is predominantly rolling, passing through grazing lands, and includes a moderate but notable climb within Mt Barambogie State Forest. For those seeking a slightly less demanding ride, turn right at Eldorado-Byawatha Road to reduce the route by nearly 10km and cut the climbing in half.
