Take a walk through Lismore's Back Alley Gallery, a hidden gem in the heart of Lismore. The street art gallery features primarily local artists with others coming from further afield: Murwillumbah, Nimbin, Byron Bay, Coffs Harbour, Brisbane and even one high-profile artist from Germany. The Lismore Back Alley Gallery has transformed the inner cityscape in Eggins Lane and more eye-catching outdoor art is planned. Stages One and Two of the LBPP supported Back Alley Gallery project have seen local, regional and even international street artists create a huge range of ‘pieces’ on the rear walls of buildings in the laneway complex. Residents and visitors from diverse backgrounds should come and experience the “heart” of Lismore as a celebration of our fantastic community.
