You start your day with a breakfast or a gentle walk in a quiet street before settling into a full day of undisturbed painting where meals made from the fresh backyard produce get delivered to you and a master artist is by your side to help you through any painting struggles. Occasionally you get driven to incredibly inspiring vistas and farmlands where you can snap more painting content than you could paint in one lifetime. That is what your retreat will look like. We call this ‘Colley Country’ because it features all of Colley's favourite subjects….Amongst the rolling green hills sits a single streetscape untouched by commerce or tourism. Beyond the hills, lies an epic landscape in every direction. Green rolling hills, stunningly clear rivers in deep valleys and access to remote painting locations unseen by most visitors. With a maximum of 10 students and paired with one of Australia's most renowned landscape oil painters Colley Whisson - join us for an experience like no other.
