Museum and Research Centre housed in the old Pleasant Creek Courthouse. Showcasing the history of Stawell and District from the original discovery of gold in 1853 to the present day. For those keen on heritage, history, buildings and people this presents an ideal place to visit and view Photographs, historic items, stories of the gold rush, industry, schools and business from the day with the benefit of assistance and interesting stories from their experienced and passionate volunteers.
