CERES Park

Fall in love with the Earth again at CERES – nestled in the heart of Brunswick East by the Merri Creek, CERES is an environmental education centre, community garden, urban farm and social enterprise hub – including a nursery, bookshop, cafes and organic grocery. Take the family, gather your friends or adventure solo and immerse yourself in 4.5 hectares of green for free! There is an adventure playground for your little ones, a dam that provides habitat for local wildlife, a peaceful meditation garden and much more. The Makers and Flea Market happens every Saturday where you’ll discover useful and beautifully handmade, vintage, up-cycled, eco-friendly and pre-loved goods. There’s always something happening at CERES, from events to community festivals and seasonal celebrations so check out the website to stay in the loop. Dogs must be on lead throughout the park and are able to visit the Nursery – indoors and outdoors, outdoors at the Merri Café, and up to the boundary fence of the Grocery and Bakery. A short trip from the city, CERES is easily accessible by tram, bus, train and bicycle with car parking also available.
