Description

The monument honors the land development initiative funded by the Australian Mutual Provident Society (AMP) in 1950, which transformed extensive bushland into farmland, sparking significant growth in Keith. It also pays tribute to the men and women who contributed to this endeavor. The memorial features a Land Rover mounted on a pole, alongside an original hut once occupied by one of the families involved in the scheme.
