Jessika Spencer - Cultural Weaving

Join Wiradjuri fibre artist, Jessika Spencer, for a woven jewellery making workshop. Jessika Spencer, will share her knowledge and techniques in this jewellery making workshop. In this intimate workshop participants will be guided to make their very own woven adornment collection using contemporary fibres that have been eco dyed and inspired by Country. The session be focused on making a matching jewellery set consisting of earrings and an armband. This cultural workshop is a gentle introduction to weaving and is suitable for all skillsets. Jessika was a finalist in the recent National Indigenous Fashion Awards in the Traditional Adornment category.
