4th Floor Elevator (4FE) is a Modernist Museum located in the heart of Adelaide CBD hidden upstairs in an historic 1879 building. Their permanent "MADE IN AUS" collection is a thoughtful curation of objects sourced exclusively from private collection showcasing the influence of migrant and local talents in furniture art, industrial design, and manufacturing in Australia between the 1950s-1980s. These iconic pieces are displayed through a fresh contemporary lens, exemplifying how good design transcends time. The museum also features international furniture, product & industrial design. 4FE is a pulsating experience of art, design, music, video graphics, and pop culture which is both educational and inspiring for all ages.
