Just Been Laid

A fifth-generation farm now running beef cattle and producing pasture-raised eggs. They have farm visits (by appointment only) and run regular events. The Shed, as it has become affectionately known, is their new event space. It has been designed to take in the beautiful view over the pastures to the pinnacle and has a commercial kitchen, farm shop and space large enough to seat at least 90. Their art and cooking classes are very popular. Eggs that "taste like eggs used to taste" or "were so easy to poach" or "just hung together and didn't run everywhere". Based on the philosophy of sustainable farming and happy, perky pasture-raised chooks - Just Been Laid is a subscription-based egg delivery service that has been delivering eggs to happy customers across Newcastle and the Hunter Valley since 2017.
