Dams of the Dilly

Take a step back in time and visit Wollondilly's collection of Sydney's oldest and most picturesque dams and one of the worlds largest domestic water supply dams. Be amazed by unique construction, walk the dam walls, enjoy the leafy green surrounds, pack a picnic and enjoy a day in the Dilly. This daytrip will delight those who who are inspired by engineering feats, stunning views and the senses of nature. The dams include Cordeaux Dam, Cataract Dam, Warragamba Dam, Nepean Dam and Avon Dam. The journey to visit all five dams is approximately 170km and will take around 4 hours (allow extra time to enjoy a picnic and walk).
