Abbeystowe Buhurt Challenger Clash

Abbeystowe Challenger Clash is unlike anything else you’ve ever seen. Come and see teams from around Australia and New Zealand battle it out to the end for glory, bragging rights, and the Abbeystowe Challenger Shield. This is an official Buhurt Sporting event hosted in Moreton Bay! Buhurt, or Armored Combat is a modern full contact fighting sport with steel blunt weapons characteristic for the Middle Ages. Brought to you by the same team that brings you the Abbey Medieval Festival, and co-hosted by South East Queensland’s own Team Vultures, the Abbeystowe Challenger Clash promises to deliver two action packed days of full contact medieval battles. With battles scheduled each day, you won’t want to miss a minute of the action. Be sure you hang around to see who will be the last one standing! And if that is not enough to get your blood pumping, there will also be a variety of other entertainment, food stalls and bar to keep you hydrated.
