Victorian Goldfields World Heritage Bid Exhibition

The incredible legacy of Victoria's gold rush of the mid to late 19th century lives on in cities and towns across the Goldfields Region. Ballarat and Bendigo became two of the richest cities in the world, and smaller towns like Daylesford, Clunes, Castlemaine and Maryborough boomed. Today the region as a whole is working to achieve UNESCO World Heritage status, and visitors can learn more at a special exhibition at the Daylesford and District Historical Society Museum throughout April. Come and support the bid to recognise this defining chapter in Australia's history. The exhibition runs every Saturday until 26 April.
