Under the baton of founding conductor Jessie Swan, we present a program filled with passion, energy, and new beginnings. Explore the deeply moving orchestral music of: Brahms, Academic Festival Overture – a joyous work, celebrating the new beginnings as an orchestra. Paffen, Waltz of the Bees – written especially for our orchestra, this world premiere work by Billy, one of our talented young members, is vibrant and fun! Kats-Chernin, Dance of the Paper Umbrellas – a lively and colorful Australian gem. Elgar, Enigma Variations – A timeless masterpiece full of mystery and emotion. Join in at interval to meet the orchestra and learn how you can help support the growth of this exciting new ensemble.
