Whitmore's Wild - Wildlife Interpretation Learning & Discovery

Whitmore's Wild operates wildlife based educational tours, including an immersive night walk in the Ocean Beach Conservation Area less than ten minutes from the centre of Strahan. The Night Walk Adventure tour operates in the evenings from October 2025 to April 2026. 1.5 - 2 hour guided walk through the wilderness at twilight, learning the unique behaviour and characteristics of native Tasmanian wildlife. Look for the sights and sounds of Strahan's wildlife - discover tracks, burrows, poo, calls and footprints. Learn how to spot and identify different creatures, and use your new skills as you continue your travels through the state and back at home. Leave with an understanding of the conservation of Australia's wildlife, and what we can do to protect them, including using wildlife detection cameras.
