Description

A Chorus Line is a groundbreaking 1975 show that became a massive success, winning 9 Tony Awards. This iconic musical focuses on 12 Broadway dancers auditioning for 8 spots in a new show. Set on a bare stage, this "concept musical" explores the intimate inner lives, heartbreaks and passions of professional performers, revealing what drives them to perform despite the risks. Auditionees are forced to bare their souls, sharing personal stories that highlight the tension between individuality and conformity in show business. A captivating, emotional "documentary-style" show that captures the tension of a high stakes audition. Iconic songs including "What I did for Love" "One" and "At the Ballet". This is a musical for anyone who has ever had a dream and put it all on the line. Tickets can be purchased from the Ballina Colour Copy Shop or via the Ballina Players website.
