Description
What were you doing ten years ago? What about five years ago, or even one year ago? If you're a creative, you might have still been making. If you're a supporter of an artist, you might recognise how their work has adapted since then. It feels interesting to look back and see how creative practices change over time.
Tania Babic is an emerging neurodivergent artist who creates on Wadawurrung Country (Ballarat) and studies on Wurundjeri Woi wurrung Country (Naarm). Her work primarily explores the intersection between the human condition and natural world through intricately illustrated natural lifeforms. She is currently commencing her first year of the Bachelor of Fine Arts at RMIT.
Tania's drawings are present in local, interstate, and national exhibitions. Notable highlights include her selection in the Hazelhurst Art on Paper Award and the Kedumba Drawing Award in 2025, alongside receiving the Youth Award for the Remagine Art Prize in 2025
