This trip has entirely the same walking as the five day Blue Mountains Traverse but with upgraded accommodation spectacularly located right on the edge of the park. Enjoy your stay within the beautiful expansive grounds of the 4.5-star Parklands in spacious suites that overlook the gardens. You also stay at 5-star Lilianfels perched right on the edge of the cliff overlooking Jamison Valley in Katoomba, a resort-style hotel with a one-hat restaurant and two pools. The hike travels across the plateau, via the valley floor and through canyons and across waterways. The walk begins in Blackheath and finds its way via Katoomba and onto Leura. As you walk you’ll be astonished by the sheer volume of incredible one of a kind vistas that the Blue Mountains is famous for. The descents into the valley are well worth the effort, as they afford you the luxury of walking up close to nature, to literally feel and smell the forest. The valley and canyon sections of the track take you via waterfalls and waterways and there is a high chance of spotting the elusive Lyrebird as you walk.
