Learn to surf in the waves at Long Reef. All equipment including a surfboard suited to your abilities is provided. For beginners they use soft, stable surfboards which are easy to balance, paddle, stand and surf on. Long Reef is a hidden gem on the Northern Beaches, located between Dee Why and Collaroy Beaches. The long white stretch of sand and nearby lagoon is a great spot to learn how to surf. When you arrive, look for the Long Reef/Manly Surf School van near the kiosk. Bring a swimsuit and towel, wear lots of sunscreen and don't forget your camera.
