The Water-Taxi carries up to 4 passengers. Fees are based on per trip. Available from Lakes Entrance to Barrier Landing, Rigby Island, Kalimna, Nyerimilang Homestead Jetty, Fraser Island Retreat (guests only), Nungurner or Metung. Wildlife Tours: 1 hour or 2 hour. Either 2 or 3 passengers. Focus on wildlife and ocean entrance. All services are run by Skipper Pete, a Certified ECO-Guide with Eco-Tourism Australia. Skipper Pete is a former National Park Ranger, land and marine, a qualified tour guide and member of Birdlife Australia and Wildlife Tourism Australia. Lakes Explorer is a Licensed Tour Operator (DEECA-Parks Victoria). Lakes-Explorer Water-Taxi visits remote location that do not have road access. Please bring suitable clothing, footwear and drink. The Skipper has the right to modify or cancel an activity. Pay on board. Subject to suitable weather.
