Hedonistic Hiking offers a series of Sunset Dinners on Mount Buffalo, on selected evenings during the summer months. Close to Bright in north east Victoria, this beautiful granite mountain is home to a number of unique plants and wildlife and gives shelter to lyrebirds, wombats and possums amongst many other species. The highest point on Mount Buffalo is known as The Horn which sits at 1,723 metres above sea level. It offers a cool haven in summer with phenomenal views over the surrounding landscape. The event starts with an afternoon transfer from the centre of Bright up to the mountain. You will walk on well-maintained mountain trails before arriving at The Horn as the sun is setting. Dinner will include canapés and three courses prepared by us using the best locally-sourced fresh produce, matched with fabulous wines from the area. At the end of the evening guests will be transferred back to Bright. This unique event could be booked by private groups and a minimum of four people would be required.
