Your guide will meet you in Central Ballarat prior to commencing the walk which concentrates on the central blocks in Ballarat's CBD or any other area of particular interest such as the Botanic Gardens, POW Memorial, or the Old Ballarat Cemetery. They will show you what the streetscapes looked like in earlier times and explain the differences you see today. The content of each tour can be adapted to suit your particular interest or origin. This tour is normally an add-on to the 90-Minute Ballarat Town Tour and can include such places as the Ballarat Art Gallery, the Mechanics Institute, Craigs Hotel, and more. Filled with stories of interest and intrigue we will tell you stories of bygone eras and you can share similar stories you may have of your ancestors.
