Your day starts with a drive along the Captain Cook Highway learning about the history of the area. Grab a drink from the bar and a small snack before the cruise along the mighty Daintree River, spotting the varied wildlife of this estuarine environment including, of course, the Saltwater Crocodile. Next is a drive down to Mossman Gorge for an interpretive walk to truly understand the rainforest before jumping in for a swim in the Gorge itself. Many calendars and posters feature this swimming area and you will see why. This tour includes a pick up and drop off from your Port Douglas accommodation.
