From the top of Gloucester Avenue, at the end of the cul-de-sac, follow the dirt road along the coastline over "Oh My God Hill" and other quirkily named geographical features. The red ochre colour of the dirt road contrasts beautifully against the vivid aqua hues of the ocean, making for some excellent photographic opportunities. There are two small eco resorts on the beachfront here at Cape Gloucester, the first of which is Montes Reef Resort, the second, Cape Gloucester Eco Resort. Both are open for lunch and have cabin-style accommodation available. Note: while this is a dirt road, it is suitable for normal vehicles most of the time. After heavy rain, the road can become corrugated, and driving at a slow pace with caution is advised.
