This six kilometre stretch of road takes you from sparse farmland into the beachside hamlet of Hydeaway Bay, where all house either front the beach or have a view of it from the hill. You will find little pathways to the beach, between the houses, spread out along this beachside stretch of road if you are ready for a swim already. A caravan park just on the outskirts, before you reach the beach, caters to campers and caravanners. Hydeaway Bay Drive turns into Gloucester Avenue along the beachfront. Continue along until you reach the cul-de-sac at the top of the rise.
