On departure, sail through dense coral formations surrounding Coral Bay before reaching Batemans Bay, with a good chance to snorkel with manta rays. Visit Point Cloates, where numerous turtles hang out in the shallow waters. You may get to step foot on Fraser Island, the Ningaloo Reef's only sand island, which is visible only at low tide! Pass the ruins of the Norwegian Bay whaling station and hear tales of the shipwrecks that lie on the Ningaloo Reef. All meals are freshly prepared on board the sailing catamaran, Shore Thing.
