Tasmanian Nature Experience - Two days of the very best of Tasmania’s wilderness, wildlife and landscapes with the opportunity to sample Tasmanian beverages and produce. Visit the spectacular Ben Lomond showcasing its magnificent Tolkien landscape, travel via forest backroads to the Tyne Valley for a nature experience reviewed as one of Australia’s best - the Quoll Patrol. Enjoy a campfire dinner with the kangaroos and the ambience of a crackling campfire while sampling Tasmanian beverages before meeting some of Tasmania’s endearing wildlife characters focusing on the eastern quoll, pademelons and Bennett's wallaby, brush-tail possum and wombat. Day two starts with a hunt for the elusive and fascinating platypus and allows you to visit the picturesque north east Tasmania coastal area at Mt William National Park and walk the long white beaches in the Bay of Fires region. Birds are abundant in Mt William National Park with honey eaters, wrens, robins, finches, and pardalotes found in the park.
