This is the ride that we are most famous for, and justifiably so. The tour is mostly downhill (sorry, yes that was mostly!) so hold on and enjoy the ride. Our local guides will take you on one of the ultimate mountain bike descents possible in Tasmania with a total drop of 1050 vertical metres. Starting in the alpine ski village at 1450 metres, this awesome trip takes you down the spectacular Jacobs Ladder road before connecting to old four-wheel drive tracks through the eucalypt forests. There is now a fantastic new single-track section which only has one small up hill before continuing downhill all the way to the Ben Lomond Alpine Resort BASE where we regroup for lunch. All tours depart on demand. Tour duration is 6-7 hours (including transport from Launceston and return).
