There are rules and generally riding at Bom Bom and can be ridden most times if rules are followed. The main rule they ask is not to ride tracks after substantial rain as bikes will damage tracks and cause environmental damage. Most riders are aware of this condition. There are other rules like not to litter and respect to the flora and fauna in the forest as an example. The rules are posted on the sign at the entrance to the Bom Bom tracks. During daylight saving, the mountain bike club conduct weekly races which are open to anyone who wants to ride and not just club members. Everyone is welcome. It's held on Thursday evening.
