Before your departure, please contact the Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service to arrange your permits, and also receive a safety briefing, tide information and an up to date beach condition report. Pick up your 4WD and take the vehicle ferry from Noosa to Noosa North Shore, the southern gateway to the Great Beach Drive and take the third sand exit onto one of the most exhilarating highways in the world. You are now entering the Great Sandy Biosphere so stop for a picnic morning tea at the coloured sands at Teewah. Continue north to Inskip Point via Leisha Track (be sure to check tide times before proceeding any further) to Rainbow Beach where you will camp in style for the evening. Camping packages are available that include complete set up and pack down of your campsite (pitch and pack), camping permits and everything needed to cook, sleep and eat with. Watch the sunset from your tent and enjoy a night under the stars!
